I was in a car accident at a parking lot. A SUV backed up and hit my driver side fender as I made a corner turn. Police said, that it is most likely both of ours fault but most important of all, insurance adjustors need to determine. Whose fault is it really?
I was in a similar kind of accident months ago, where I was driving through the lot and a car pulled out and hit me. It was determined to be his fault. The only difference between my recent one, is that I made a corner turn.
What do you think?

Not that it couldn't happen to me too, but it's probably your fault for driving too fast for conditions, but never admit that an accident is your fault.

There is no one that can answer this question better than your insurance adjuster. Beyond that, they are the only authority in paying for your damage so what difference does it make? By the way, what is a corner turn? Sounds like you have problems in parking lots. Most poeple have no problems avoiding accidents on the road yet alone in a parking lot, I hope your insurance company either drops you or finds you 100% not at fault. Police are right and never should have to get involved because it's probably a private lot. You burned yourself.
