Try Seaside Bar and Grill (corner of Seaside and Kuhio Ave.). They have specials for every meal! Good food, good prices!!
For a good burger, great ambiance, and views of the ocean and the beach, try Cheeseburger in Paradise Waikiki area. The burgers are great (I share one with my husband), and a whole lot of fries!! You get a fresh slice of pineapple with your burger! They have other food there also, not just burgers! Enjoy!
For a view of Hawaiian Sealife, look no further than the Oceanarium Restaurant at the Pacific Beach Hotel. They serve buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
The Oceanarium Tower has a 280,000 gallon tank that is three stories tall (in each of it's three restaurants), and you get to view the sealife that is only found in the waters of Hawaii!!
Great food, get your fill for buffet breakfast!!

The Shorebird Broiler at the Outrigger on the Beach Hotel has a great breakfast buffet.... right on Waikiki beach. And for a real treat... try La Mariana Restaurant just off Sand Island Access Road. It's the last of the original Tiki bars........ the atmosphere is terrific, and the food was excellent. Go there late in the afternoon ... for dinner and to watch the sunset. If you're getting around the island..... Buzz's Steakhouse in Kailua.... and Pinky's on Kalaheo Ave. in Kailua. For a real breakfast treat... Boots and Kimos in Kailua on Hekili St. ..... you will wait a bit to get in, but once you taste the banana pancakes with Macadamia nut syrup, you will understand..... And if you venture towards the north shore.... Giovanni's Shrimp truck on Kamehameha Highway in Kahuku. And a little further north in Haliewa, Matsumoto's Shave Ice is a must!!

Cheeseburger in Paradise is a good meal but really how good can a cheeseburger be? You're paying for the location. Count on spending at least $10 per person for a burger. My wife and I went and spent $50 for 2 burgers, fries and 2 drinks! More than any burger is worth in my book even if it comes with a view and cheese too. Go to the locally owned independant places rather than any franchise or chain store.

cheesecake factory is the best one I've been too. Been to several others in the chain, by far the best one is in Waikiki. A place called "Dukes on the Beach" ( I think) is good, not excellent food, but its literally on the beach, and they make good drinks. the japanese restaurants are not very good.

It depends on what you're looking for and the price range you're willing to spend in. There are a number of big name restaurants such as Cheesecake Factory, Yardhouse, Planet Hollywood, etc. but there are also more local big restaurants such as Tanaka of Tokyo, Cheeseburgers in Paradise, and Wailana Coffee shop that are also very good.

My advice is to take a walk around Waikiki once you get here......you'll find many, many, many restaurants worthy of your tastebuds here!

Happy travels!

Koa has good Thai food, if you like that. Also, Tsunami's is good for breakfast (its small and it turns into a bar at night). If you go up to the north shore, eat at one of the shrimp stands Fumi's or another one, it looks shady but they are ono!!
