because the persons brain knows that there making the noise most of the time when you wake up its because ur brian doesn't know whats going on but when you snore ur brain knows its you so it doesn't have to wake you up

I think it is because the person is already in such a deep sleep. Usually a person who snores does not start snoring until they are in a deep enough sleep. I myself snore and have sometimes woken up to hear myself snoring when I was drifting off! Plus I think most people who do snore are heavy sleepers, I know I am!

Snoring doesnt wake up the person whos snoring becuz they cant always hear it.It depends on if your a heavy or light sleeper. Like when you fart you dont always smell it but the other person might.

Oh contrair monfrair, when I snore I always wake up. My wife hates me farting in bed more than snoring.

ooh girl i ask myself that question everynight. My man snores so loud that I could swear the people downstairs from me could hear him. I scream at him for it. I even wear headphones, FULL blast and YET i STILL hear him. Its a curse. I always tell him if he heard himself then he'd be just as annoyed as me

well ya know what, it does but they don't realize thats what woke them up. I have woke my self up snoring before, my ex woke me up once saying honey your snoring and i said how could i i wasn't asleep yet lol guess i was ...../

because they are in rem sleep, there brain is switched off for all but a few vital functions, llisten and see if they talk in theier sleep, if u want to convince them they r snoring, hide a tape recorder. thats all, tape dosen't lie.
