Now some people might laugh, but this is true:
Your Brain is Dehydrated!
That is why your head hurts.
So take all those prior peoples advice and drink plenty of non- alcoholic bevvies to rehydrate your brain and body and to help flush out your poor currently overworking liver, which is trying to remove the toxins.
I don't know anything about ibuprofen. I don't like pills. Why not take a Good Old Fashioned Aspirin?
Hope you feel better soon, and remember to pace yourself next time! Alternate alcohol & non-alcohol drinks and have snacks before & while drinking and you can still get a nice happy buzz. You don't have to get totally plastered to have a good time. I was gonna say *&^!faced LOL! oops , just kinda did ... :)
Take care

Their are a couple of reasons that you are hanging. One is that alcohol dehydrates you, so if you drink water it could go away. Two alcohol is a toxin, so if you do not have a lot of water or food in your system it can affect you. Again, if you drink water it will flush your system. Three, if you drink a lot on a regular basis, then you could be addicted, and in that case having another drink will ease the symptoms, but if probably not a good idea.
Feel better.

There was info on tv about mixing pain killers with alcohol. Even one drink mixed with Tylenol?(if I recall correctly) could destroy the liver in some people, and then they had to have a liver transplant. I would just tuff out the headache. Maybe an icebag or something?

I would NOT take any medications... especially tylenol as it contributes to your already alcohol-damaged liver. You have a headache because alcohol dehydrates your system. Drink plenty of fluids and electrolytes (e.g. Gatorade). You should feel better.

The main thing you should do is remember this feeling the next time you go out drinking, and only drink in moderation. You really will enjoy it more, especially the next day!!
For now, stay in a cool, dark room and drink lots of water or sports drinks like Gatorade.
If there's no warning on the ibuprofen bottle, what you've heard is probably an urban legend. Go to Snopes.com and check it out. They have a search box within their site.

Hello,
You may be dehydrated.
Drink plenty of water today.
Also if you are going to drink, drink water before you start, during and after drinking alcohol.
a. You will drink less
b. You will not dehydrate,
which is a big problem when drinking alcohol.
Hope you feel better soon.
