my mothers name was lorena davenport .my dads name was robert davenport and i was born in lewistion maine on 7-1-1960 .and i was told that i have a sister or brother was born on the same day is me .i like to know if it was alive .or did it die .my name is bonita davenport .

I don't know, but try going to lewiston maine and checking the records. If you were born in a hospital/have a birth certificate, its recorded somewhere. They're usually in the library or city hall. Call and see what they know. That's probably going to be your best bet to see if a sibling exists/what their name is.

Bonita, you do have a lot of information to go by. It should
not be difficult to find birth connections. Your parents should
be about age 65-67.... and your siblings near your age of
47.
You might try putting your name on a listing where people
are searching for people. Some addresses and info can be
gotten from a lilbrarian.
Try contacting the newspaper editor of a newspaper in
Lewiston, Maine, and checking out anything that might have
been printed there, or in the Historical Society, or Genealogy
Center there.
Most people who search for relatives, do not have as
much info as you do and the search doesn't take very long
at all.

You would also need to know the county for lewiston maine.
Then check for birth and death records for your sibling You will also need to know the capitol of maine for certain records.
It is different in every state.For someone born in oklahoma or texas you have to write the state capitol . That also includes death records . Some funeral places also have records of deaths.

so you were a twin, try the census try checking the hospital , look on your birth certificate and it will say where you were born. .and check that out ask a lot of question helps. good luck.
