Bernard Hopkins won according to the judges by UD...by a wide margin.

If you ask me Harold Lederman (sp??) got it right with a 114-114 draw. the guys from SKY SPORTS called it 115-113 for hopkins (i got stuck watching the british broadcast since the firght was streamed over the net...) and no im not from england...im from the U.S. anyway...

You have to call it a draw in my opinion and if you can't call it a draw it should have been a close 115-113 for wright, 115-113 for hopkins and the last judge 115-113 for hopkins.

this fight was NOT that far gone.

First of all i was very angry that the ref didnt take any points away from Hopkins...he headbutted winky so damn much in this fight it was ridicoulous. i dont know how many warnings he got for headbutting as well as other fouls he committed during the course of the fight.

People may say winky was "whining" about it but i seen it plain as day, hopkins wasn't fighting a good clean fight.

Hopkins may have started the fight at the news conference before the fight but winky brought the fight to bernard all night. he rarely backed away from bernard...

hopkins was doing most of the backing away.

I appreciate and strongly admire winky's heart during the fight. he wouldnt back down and kept trying to corner bernard to go to work. he had hopkins against the ropes throughout the fight. there was a little more clinching that i'd like there to be.

if you dont consider the undercards of the night then i have to say this fight delievered far beyond many's expectations.

no one would have thought it would have been some physical. many thought it would be a defensive yawner but that was definately not the case.

i knew when the final bell rang it didnt matter who won it was still a good fight...and i had it a draw but i could see it leaning either way but i must say im very angry at the judges. i dont know what fight they were watching but it surely wasnt the one IN the ring...maybe it was the one that broke out in the crowd.

its just as bad as the judge who scored (the only one) the fight in favor of spinks when he fought taylor. the other judges scored (i think) 116-112 for taylor and the last judge gave it 117-111 for spinks...

i think somebody is either blind or there is somebody paying off judges to fix fights...

ah well...still a good fight.

Sorry bout dirty tactics of Hopkins, but Wright is very outclassed. Wright looks sluggish anyway. Bernard was smart and he will do anything to win, I hate him for such dirty tricks but Wright is still outclassed.

We need to replace some of these judges. It was a close fight. I thought Hop-man was clinching too much. Hop-man won a close fight. not 117 to 111
