Kevin Trudeau is a con artist. He even spent time in Federal Prison.

He has no credentials at all. No college education. No medical school, no research.....

Don't believe anything he says

!. Kevin Trudeau has been in a lot of legal trouble for some of the claims he has made. Some of his advice is sensible but some may be ill-advised.

2. A recent lawsuit was filed against some makers of suntan lotions, accusing them of actually causing skin cancer.I believe there have been reports to support this but I don't remember if the cancer resulted from the ingredients or the high SPF.

3. If I were you, I would continue using protection but minimize the actual sun exposure and avoid using any extremely high SPF protective ointments. Since you obviously have a computer, you should do some online research to see exactly what in the lotions caused the cancer.

I would say you should use sunblock because it's not only protecting against the chance of getting cancer but protecting you from the immediate effect- sun burnt! Also, although it is true that one should be careful about what to put on the skin because our skin can still absorb a lot of things and bring those things into our blood, it is not true that we cannot put anything that is unsafe to eat on our skin. Think - a LOT of medication are for skin use/external use only. That means they are all good for external use but not internal (i.e. entering your body via mouth or injection) use. I think sunblock is one of these things.

If you are very worry about skin cancer (perhaps due to family history?) and don't feel comfortable using sunblock all the time, you should wear hats/caps and clothes with more coverage to protect yourself from the sun. People live in middel east did that for thousands of years even they are in a hot weather because they understand that protecting the skin from sun rays is very important. Not using sunblock nor protective measures will surely lead to increase chance of skin cancer, that is FOR SURE.

you should definitley put it on. scientific studies prove that sun block protects you from the bad rays. i dont know what book you were reading! i can prove this too. ppl who have worn sunblock generally dont get skin cancer. but i know of ppl who used to go out all the time with out it and they have skin cancer now and some have even died from it. plus you dont burn as bad when you have it on, which proves it protects you to some extent. you also use body soap in the shower and your not supposed to put that in your mouth. the whole "if you cant put it in your mouth dont use it" theory is bogus!

NO. it is not true. your mouth is a seperate... PROTECTED part of your body. sunblock lotion is one of the only ways to protect yourself. it BLOCKS the sun hense the title. 8]. it is a chemical true but it is tested to help otherwise half of the world would most likely have cancer. and it would be false advertisment.

sunblock is supposed to do the opposite, and protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
