More to the point, if they have no power at home, how do they think they are watching his great advice on TV?

Be fair, be nice. There are lots of people in affected areas who aren't actually flooded out. Worried about travelling, or relatives, or the need to take precautions.

It was no-one's fault, but a British gem was on the BBC radio last night.
Words to the effect that: "We couldn't bring you the weather forecast because of the weather."

It was an apology that the shipping forecast had not gone out sucessfully because the rain was so severe it was interfering with the long wave transmission.

Let's be sensible about it. The same advice was probably given out on the radio and in newspapers as well and as for accessing the Internet how about using laptop computers or mobile phones - only battery power needed there.

LMAO!

Perhaps the Severn Trent Water company thinks people have their own water wheels, and are over powered now!

I know that people in the affected areas are having a terribly miserable time, and that it will cost them a great deal and I really do feel for them.
But sorry it is not a Disaster.
