I consider brave having to deal with the unknown and selfish as in, tolerant and living through misery in order to prove your devotion. I do not consider killing yourself brave or honorable.

What about the non-suicide bomber who bombs the innocent in one city after another and comes back to base to have coffee and donuts?

Terrorists in my personal view are deranged fellows who have either lost their minds due to tragedy or so brain washed that they have lost their minds due to the wrong training.

What about those who are brain washed into believing that they can kill the innocent civilians of other countries and still pretend to be civilized when they are really barbarians in fact? including those who support them in murdering the innocent in countries that can not defend themselves.

I hope you understand what I am saying. You will if you give it sincere thought if you are a decent individual.

In no way do I have respect, sympathy for, or do I support terrorism or terrorists.

Neither am I convinced they are cowards. I think they are mislead, misguided, used and abused by those they serve.
This is not the only culture that honors death in such a way, remember the Japaneese Kamakazie Pilots? They were on suicidie missions. Even the good ole USofA has flown them. Throughout history, it has widely been accepted that to die in battle is honorable.

This is hard for you and me, because we live in a culture that supports the role of man as protector and provider. And you can't be that if you blow yourself up!

Looking through the scope of a lifetime, it might be a cowardly way out, but I hardly think it would be any easy one...........

the definition of terrorist is relative. those so-called terrorists who are blowing themselves up are doing something very brave and unselfish for a faith they believe.

there needs to be some kind of education so people grow up realizing that no loving god would want them to behave such ways.
