God is historical. Look it up in the encyclopedia. So why is He imaginary?
God is real. It is up to you, like a prosecutor at a trial, to deny that he isn't. If I may instruct you, start with looking under every rock on Earth, and end with visiting the last star in the Universe. Ready? Go!

Sure, its simple to imagine a being more powerful than God. Just imagine a being just like God in every way, with the exception that he can kick God's butt.

Also, you can imagine a God that isn't constrained in many of the strange ways that the christian god is. For example, you could imagine a God that is capable of forgiving sins whenever he wanted to, instead of only when asked. Or you could imagine a God that didn't need to commit suicide before being able to forgive sins.

You could also imagine a God that was just like the christian God, but was smart enough to make people without tonsils and appendixes. Or maybe even a God smart enough to design female humans that could only get pregnant if they _wanted_ to.

Or, you could imagine a God that was just like the christian God, but smart enough not to make people be born gay even though he condemns them in his bible. Or a God smart enough not to fill young humans with raging hormones even though he apparently doesn't want them to have sex.

Its not at all hard to imagine a more powerful God. Its even easier to imagine a more competent one.

Probably because, being omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, He is also the most powerful *real* being in the Universe! Mankind cannot even begin to imagine (with all of our collective, God-given, imaginations) how powerful a being would have to be to create the entire universe out of nothing - which is precisely what He did! From the largest gas giant and the vast expanse of the universe down through all the living plants and animals, including sentient beings, to the minutest, tiniest, sub-atomic particle - He created it all!

Hey, "ignoramus_the_great", The fool (atheist) says in his heart there is *No god*; so I guess it would be called "Atheism"!

Later: Who can understand the mind of God? I guess *that* would be none other than, "Azure Z", him/her/itself, so I guess he/she/it is *really* God!

Actually the most powerful imaginary being is "No God." He has found a constant place in the mind of a significant portion of the population.

When his believers are asked to prove he exists they say you can not logically prove the existence of "No God." Since they can not logically prove his existence, I guess they believe in "No God" by faith. What do they call this crazy religion!!!

well god is considered the most powerful being in the universe by believers so there cannot be a being more powerful

Because they believe some of that power bleeds down to them. The Christians who deal in the silver of knowledge on R&S are mostly hung up on pietism.

Can god create a stone so heavy that he can't lift it?

That argument still disproves all-powerful god.

So logically... "all-powerful" is impossible.
