Personally, all I can say is WOW !
And it is us atheists who are supposedly evil and hateful ones.
If this is what religion does for a person............... No thanks !
Sad really.

I should add that some christians showed great tolerance and open mindedness when answering, sadly though, the majority didn't.

How is that intolerance?? The President of the United States has to be the face of America toward other countries...
There are certain job requirements and personal requirements....he will not be voted in to office ...that is just the facts....

Would you like to vote for a flaming homosexual as president? You want him with his gay voice and makeup and purse and addressing the nation in that way. What would it do for international policy that we have a flaming ****** as president?
There are political consequences if you vote for an openly gay president, so I would not judge the Christians as intolerant because of the question you asked.

No, I am not surprised at all since the people are already bigoted they just have a source in their religion to justify their hate and bigotry.

It's hateful that most of them said no? I don't see it that way. Having an opinion is not hateful. Now, if they were to go on to say that if a homosexual was elected president, they'd want to assassinate him, THAT would be hateful. Just saying they wouldn't vote for one, however, is NOT hateful.

I am not a religious person and I would not vote for a gay president.
A president must represent the majority.

I consider it intolerance when you ask a question and then get bent out of shape because everyone isn't gay like you. Why ask if you don't want the opinions of others.

You have no idea if the people answering these questions are Christians or not, you are making a gratuitous assertion. That is sad, really!
