printer.what more do you have to do in order to operate the printer after you turn it on?
@go to control panel and clicl add/remove hardware
b@nothing ,it uses USB
C@Reboot the computer
d@recycle the printer memory

Out of all the options i only find(c) interesting because you may need to reboot AFTER YOU INSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVERS!!!!!. This can be found on the supplied CD,check the box for it. Some printers can be really complicated ,use the manual to guide you through.

You forgot
E - load the printer control software from the CD supplied with the printer..
It's not just drivers on the CD - there are other bits of software the printer needs - load the CD

Go to printer properties, and set it as the Default printer.

start with doing letter a. while doing that if it asks you if you want that printer as your primary one click yes. if it doesn't ask you then you need to go into printers and fax and click on that printer so it is the primary one.

install the printer drivers!
only then will you be able to use it,
if you dont have the cd, then download from the manufacturer's website.
