1st John. John is very blunt in his delivery. There is no misunderstanding his words. He says it like it is and also he was a good friend of Jesus', so I believe that he is speaking first hand.

Why do I have to pick ONE!!????!!! lol

I am not even sure if my answer will be accurate. But I lean toward the Gospel of John for the Gospels. I wish it were longer.

In the Epistles I lean towards Paul ( which is not difficult to believe!) , and have to choose between Hebrews, which links me greatly to the types and shadows of the Old testament, and the examples of faith in the Old Testament.

Yet Romans and Galatians are notable in an extreme manner, because in Galatians I can get prime examples of legalism within Christianity, and in Romans the relationship of those under the Law and Grace through faith.

If that confuses the answer about which I learned more from, it did me too! lol

The Psalms; it is the longest book in the Bible, plus I can relate to most of the life of the sweet Psalmist(s) of Israel.

Philippians. It is the book of joy, written in prison. Philippians 2:5-11 makes me want to cry as I think of what God has done for me. Philippians 3:8-14 is the goal of my life. I, like Paul, want to share in the fellowship of His sufferings. Philippians 4 says be anxious about nothing, give thanks in everything, pray always, and God will meet all of my needs -- again, spoken by somebody in prison.

Tough question - very tough.
But I would say Romans due to its emphasis on grace, and leading to a spiritual relationshipwith God(Rom. 6:23; and chapter 8). It also tells us to be living sacrifices (Rom 12:1-2).
