last friday i was out drinking with my ex (he now my best friend) and before i headed home he said to me "if i told u i am madly in love with you what would you do" he was drunk at the time should i choose to pretend i dont remember it or bring it up next time i see him as this seem compleaty out of character for him to say stuff like that

Tough situation. I know how you feel. A friend of mine, while super drunk and roofied, told me he loved me over the phone. Seeing as though he couldn't remember half the stuff that he did that night, I never brought it up again.
The fact that it took the ignorant fluid for him to say that shows that he might still have feelings for you, but he's afraid of rejection.
It can go either way. You tell him and he might shy away from embarrassment, or you keep it to yourself and he'll never get up the courage to tell you the truth.

If he was drunk who knows if he really meant it or not. If he is your best friend now then you can ask him at a later time where it came from, but don't expect an exciting answer. He might tell you that he doesn't remember saying that to you and that he was just drunk. Don't let it ruin your friendship

Thetruth comesout when yourdrunk, A LOT! Trust me I have done the same thing when I was drunk and it was the truth.Maybe if he is yourbest friend you should talk to him and just be like " hey so I just wanted to talk to you about something that happened the other night" if you guys are close you should be able totalk about things like that

Don't bring it up again. Sometimes the truth comes out when you're drunk, but leave it as it is. If he really meant it, he might say it again.

first of all do you still have feelings for this guy? if you do then maybe ask him about the comment if you feel comfortable. he could have just been drunk and being stupid or he could have been letting everything out. if you don't have any feeling left then just let it slide. he wont remember and you wont have to either.

Well, are you in love with him? If so, let him know how you feel...if not, ignore it. Drunk people say whatever comes to mind and he could have meant it in a "wouldn't it be funny.." way.

haha dont u know wat does that means?? he is still in love with you! If you want him back get drunk with him as often as you can lol :D And when you will be both drunk hit on him and make a move. and look at his reaction, if he will act weird and kinda reject you, then on the next day call him and say look i dont remember anything wat was yesterday i was soo drunk i didnt even control myself lol Good luck :)

pretend u don't remember and wait for him to ask u again when NOT drunk..... remember he was drunk u can say anything stuipid or deranged.
