No.
Religion, is the ritual belief of what the relationship with 'God' requires.

Yes. There's a huge difference. Religion is what one purports to believe, whereas a relationship with God the actual essence of religion. One need not pursue a relationship with God in order to be religious, especially if your religion is non-God based (Wicca, Buddhism, whatever). I have known many people I would call religious who didn't seem, at least, to be overly concerned about having a relationship with God. Many answers you get to this question will be no, there's no difference, but I know for a fact that there is. It is when one's religious beliefs become more important than the One about Whom those beliefs were formed that your religion becomes your god, and God is nowhere in it. I think there are many, many professing Christians who fit this, and many of them give answers here, usually rude ones.

Yes, Christianity is a relationship with God, not a religion.

yes, i do. there are so many religions out there we won't know which is the correct religion until we meet our Creator until after we die and face Him on judgement day. but even with all the different religions out there any one who chooses to can have a personal relationship with God. it pleases God when His children,no matter what their religion, turns to Him for conversation and for help in their lives.

Well, the question is kind of not well formulated. One thing is related to the other and depends of what do you understand about religion:
"A religion is a set of beliefs and practices generally held by a community, involving adherence to codified beliefs and rituals and study of ancestral or cultural traditions, writings, history, and mythology, as well as personal faith and mystic experience. The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to communal faith and to group rituals and communication stemming from shared conviction"

Based on it, religion is as the practice related to the beliefs in what, in this case, makes able a relationship with God!

I certain senses of the word, Religion takes away from the relationship of what we are to have with God, and makes it a tradition, a set of rules to conduct ourselves by. Often they are traditions from another religion that have been glued onto Christianity.

The relationship that I have with God is most important to me.I will not allow the traditions to interupt it, to the best of my abilities. It means that I have contact with Him personally, and that is a great thing to have.

Good question. I personally believe that God happened and
still is. Religions are humanistic interpretations with applicable credibility (who, what book said it, under what
regime, how long ago, etc.). I feel a need to define what I
learn as I believe He wants me to as a "good and responsible person who can benefit the world He created".
