You list:

Sales Associate- XY Company - from xx to xx (temporary position)

You can explain better in a face to face interview. This info is enough to understand this is not job hopping. Good luck!!

You should list sales associate as the position but in more detail temporary 3 month contract so that prospective employers don't think you were fired or quit. So be as detailed as possible.

I'd list it as contract or temporary, whatever seems correct at the time. Often I will explain those jobs, if relevant, in my cover letter reiterating that the position was temporary or the contract ended etc.

If you have several jobs like that you should definitely make some mention that they ended because they were not permanent positions, ie temporary.

I am in agreement with FlyBoy on this one. You need to sell the fact that this was a three month project and it's success resulted in the end of the contract. I would not suggest leaving it off for discussion in the final interview - who knows whether this will make the notes or not. Your resume should market your successes, this one included.

I would list as just sales associate then maybe in the description say it was a contract you completed.

Yes, it is best to specify that it was a temporary three month contract, as you mentioned, employers may think if you don't state that that something went wrong with the job i.e. that you were fired.

I'd list it as I would with any other position that I'd held with the notation that this was a three month contract. Put this in the last sentence: "This was a three-month assignment that I successfully fulfilled."

I would absolutely list it as temporary. I've had numerous temporary positions in my life. And list the agency that sent you, not the client site, as your employer.

On the resume I would leave it as present job. Don't put an end date.
