i might vote for a gay candidate if he (Or she) have been properly qualified in accordance to the factors set forth in Scripture, which might contain that his schedule became to no longer placed forth rules that help the sin of homosexuality. there isn't any suited candidate, "for ALL have sinned and fallen wanting the honour of God" ---Romans 3:23 notice: i do no longer evaluate the sin of homosexuality any distinctive than the sin of adultery or mendacity or stealing. merely because of the fact somebody must be born with an "overwhelming urge" to do such issues does no longer substitute the actuality that they have got a option to fulfill or deny that want. Sin is sin! the main important in this scenerio is "maximum qualified" and that's the main suitable any people can wish for in a Presidential race. because of the fact as I shared from Romans 3: 23 no person is suited!

If his campain and things he would do for the country are good. I dont vote my presidential candidate based on just religion or sex or anything else. I worry about whats gonna be best for the people. besides.....from a christian standpoint being gay is a sin. but so is many other things sex out of wedlock gluttony....and a whole lot of other things. No sin is worse than any other.......so therefore by that standpoint everyone is a sinner......so wheres the problem? its between them and the lord.

It depends on what he was trying to accomplish while being president. If his interests was in the people and he worked hard to make this a better country I dont see why it would be a bad thing. I personally do not condone in homosexuality but I can not change a persons descisions on their sexual preference. There for I have no right to hate them.

I don't think sexual preference is something that a candidate should need to flaunt, nor hide. If the candidate wished to push through laws that would give gay couples unequal rights....then no....
Any candidate needs to be fair and equitable in their decision making....stressing sexual preference may or may not interfere with the ability to remain unbiased in decision making.
So, the answer would have to be...I need to know the candidate, what his platform was, and how he would address various issues.

Assuming I'd vote for him/her anyway, hell yes. Then again, I'm a lousy Christian, so I'm told. I let the judging be done by somebody else - that's not my fcuking job.

lol at Fishy - your God calls eating pork an abomination, think of that next time you wanna eat a burger
to k716 the Greek word in that verse is malakos which means effeminate and arsenokoitēs which literally means "men with many beds", so in those verses homosexuality is not even adressed, pick another one
P.S i'm not gay i just study theology

Yes. I am a gay Christian, so I have no problems with that. And - it's sexual orientation, not sexual preference. Can you change your sexual orientation on a whim? Straight men, can you suddenly change your sexual attraction from women to men for the next 5 minutes and then change it back again? Can you imagine yourself being sexually attracted to a hairy, masculine, man for the next day? I didn't think so.

See what a bunch of sick ignorant, basement-dwellers these people are? They hate anything not like themselves. When God's thoughts on slavery are brought to light they say "Oh, that's just the OT." (which is completely untrue). Yet when homosexuality is brought up it's "Oh, that's the OT, which the entire NT is based upon! It's Leviticus and therefore it must be right." Ask them what they think about cotton-polyester blends and the consumption of fish. It's amazing how what they do is alright and what they don't is to be condemned.
Their Jesus would have abhorred them.
