Just wondering, how many watts do you think the crappy stock radio in my 93 jeep cherokee sport puts out?
I know its not much at all, but I'm getting some much needed replacement speakers and was wondering if the $5-$10 price difference from 100 watt to 150 watt speakers was worth it.
thanks

If you get those speakers, then you need a 4 ch amplifier in order to get the most of them and the best sound quality possible. A stock radio usually produces around 10-15 w rms, so it will never power the speakers the right way.

I can guarantee that the stock radio in your Jeep doesn't come close to 100 watts, let alone 150. It's probably around 10 watts per channel.
