the bible is just a book which is made up and yes since there are so many idiots that believe in the bible were the same people that voted for bush. I see your point. lol that's funny. I never thought of it that way. I am glad i don't vote because i get to make funny of our leaders!

The Bible is more like an epic novel. Playboy and Cosmopolitan are simple periodicals. A better comparison would be the Bible and ancient Greek literature, such as the works of Homer.

All 3 works are religiously believed by some gullible people, so the differences are less than most people say. I dropped my subscription to "PLAYBOY", because it was trying to tell readers what to think and glorifying such frauds as Michael Moore, Michael Bellesiles, Bill Clinton, Bill Maher, etc. I do not blindly believe anything, whether it is Bible or Playboy. One should just look at the pix in Playboy.

Playboy and Cosmo are magazines. The Bible is a book. Many Bibles have pics as well. What does any of that have to do with George Bush?

In my opinion the bible has always served the same purpose but today is out of date,its obsolete.The stories WERE made up BY MAN,nothing else, for times when things were more simple (compared to now ,2007) but also more barbaric.Times where it was more effective to tell "the people" that you will go to hell for all eternity if you sin than to tell them you're going to chop off their hand or scalp them or whatever.Basically, in the common sense area these people were idiots.
Cosmo is just a medium for consumer whores.
And Playboy AND Playgirl are mags for a society addicted to sex.

The bible was written by God through men inspired by him, for the instruction of humans. Where as Playboy and Cosmopolitan were written by men and women simply wanting to bring pleasure, wrong as it may be, to men and women in the world.

Playboy and Cosmo are fiction and ask us to live lifes of immorality and sin wereas the bible it the inspired word of God and the Truth. Also a good book to base your morals on.
