I think they do, that's why I use electric instead.

Yes they do. When gas is burned the two primary byproducts are water and carbon dioxide, in small devices such as lawn mowers there's also quite a bit of carbon monoxide produced - proportinally a lot more than in a gas powered vehicle engine.
Using electric also results in the release of greenhouse gases but on a much smaller scale. The generation stage of electricity production relies heavily on the burning of fossil fuels, the extraction, processing and burning of which emits greenhouse gases.

Sure, anything that runs on gasoline will throw out greenhouse fumes. Even an electric mower will use oil.
Letting the grass grow long is the greenest way to go, with an occasional cutting with a push mower. And get rid of those electric tools! Hand pruners are much more effective than a weed whacker and a rake is the best way to gather up leaves.

Indeed they do and as mentioned above, they create more emissions per volume of gasoline than a car will.
I also use an electric lawnmower and weed whacker. Don't mind GABY - as usual she's completely wrong about electric power. Electric engines are so efficient that they produce less greenhouse gases than gasoline even if the power grid were completely coal burning power plants.

Anything that emits any kind of fumes from burning fuel releases greenhouse gases. Electric is obviously much better.
But the only grass cutting device that does absolutely no harm whatsoever to the environment is going to be something completely manual.

Anything that burns gas emits greenhouse gases. So yes they do, obviously not as much as cars due to the smaller displancement engines but yes

The electric ones are worse. They waste energy because they just use electric power from a power plant that is much less efficient in terms of energy conversion from fuel to end source. As far as pollution, you are just moving the pollution from your yard to the power plant location.
Why do so many people think electric power magically comes from some clean source that is more efficient? A typical power plant only converts about 25% of the source energy used to electricity, then there are losses in transmission and end use motors, heaters, etc.

It doesn't make any difference ,it should take almost the same power weather it is a motor or electrical.

yes they do.......the E.P.A. claim,s 10 to 15% come,s from power equipment.....not sure I agree with that estimate....but they do contribute......using electric is controversial....you use electric...the power station has to produce more by burning oil,gas,or coal....so they pollute for you.....we won,t get into nuclear....the N.R.C. will only allow 50% production anyway...the best solution is manual mower,s & trimmer,s....& you get more exercise..no need to spend money,time at the health club.....better for all.......good luck!

Yes, and their two stroke engines are much worse than a car for producing pollution.
