I think it is just wrong. We should judge people by their personality and not their race, religion, or their appearance. I don't think it is right that some Christians hate Muslims. We are all human, for God's sake!!!!!!

Well there is a question that has been asked the world over.

I don't know that the situation is necessarily Christian vs. Muslim, however I do think that people tend to generalize, which is an unfortunate occurrence. There are a lot of uneducated people in the world whose lives are pretty small and therefore are unable to fathom a culture/religion/opinion different from theirs. Isn't that what racism really is? When you add in things like terrorism, 911 and the war in Iraq, fearful racist people make ignorant decisions rather than decisions based in logic.

Humans are fallible and will continue on this path until we evolve into the higher thinking beings for which we already have biological capacity.

A very good question except for one point, Muslims do not fight against any one, an average Muslim would tend to discuss and debate with others in the most polite and appropriate way.
Also, sometime I find Christians who wants to do the same. Actually, I hope this will be the official way to discuss different religions or viewpoint.

I think the best answer is not the best answer. Christians while not always right is the true faith of the Almighty God. That's what so many people fail to see but Muslims want to kill anyone who isn't Muslim and that alone is cause to know that aJesus the only true God will condemn this. We're supposed to love one another but it can be difficult with the way Muslims just love killing like vicious maniacal people.

Great question!

We all want to be Almighty God's "favorite". We waste precious time and energy arguing and debating who's right and who's wrong. As a result, many of us resort to insults and verbal abuse in trying to get our points (if any) across.

Many of us are supposedly so "worried" or "concerned" about other people's salvation to the point of becoming insulted or offended when other people differ or disagree with what we say. That's immaturity and insecurity, big time.

I am Muslim. Personally, I have no time to argue or debate with Christians regarding beliefs. I'm not worried about their salvation. If many people have nothing better to do with their time but to fight over religious beliefs, then that's no one else's problem. No matter how "right" people think they are, nothing positive is proven. No winners. All losers.

And we're convinced we're pleasing The Almighty! Not a chance!

Perceiving Islam as a violent religion will not contribute anything towards peace. There is no need to understand each other, we just must respect each other's beliefs and be tolerant.

But there will be when Muslims and Christians will stand side-by-side to fight the common enemy.

Hmm...last time I checked, it was not the Christians be-heading Muslims. Why accuse Christians of fighting Muslims, when in reality, Islam is trying to force itself on the world? I do not believe the teachings of Islam and I will fight with my very last breath to keep it from being forced upon me. I do not try and force my belief in Christ Jesus on Muslims and I do not kill them for refusing to believe. God is our Judge and I am only commanded to speak His Word and live peaceably with everyone. However, that being said, there is a spiritual war taking place and we are all a part of it and we all have to pick sides. God Bless You....Peace.

Christians are not "against" Muslims. Unlike Muslims who seem intent on eliminating all non-muslims through whatever means possible.

Christians are opposed to the religion of Islam in that it contradicts the faith of Christianity, and in particular misrepresents the Biblical Jesus. See http://www.bcbsr.com/topics/islam.html

Because there are more Muslims than Christians in the world, and since religion is nothing more than a power struggle, Christians resent the fact that Muslims are more numerous, and have control of a section of the world.

They try to tell you it's because Muslims are violent, but that is so incredibly hypocritical. Christians, throughout history, have been every bit as violent as Muslims are.

As far as I'm concerned, just about every religion on earth spawns violence and hatred.

It seems to be the nature of the religious fanatic that no one has the truth but themselves. It is the fanatical ones that cause the problems, and they turn the teachings of their own religions any way they like to justify their actions.
Yet another reason I do not adhere to any religion.
