Those are alot of questions.
I think scriptures can best explain what was the Word.
"In the beginning there was the word. And the word was with God and the Word was God" John 1:1. My interpretation is that the Word represents Jesus. It is also known as Logos. That is quite a heavy question to explain.
As to Jesus having another father, well he did have Joseph as a earthly father figure.
Good Friday is named as such because it is the day that Jesus died to save us from sin.
and the explanation I heard for it being 666 was that is was a mockery of the holy trinity.

**Did not Jesus say my new name is the "Word of God"?**

No, Jesus did not say that it is His new name. It has always been His name (John 1:1-18). Jesus Himself IS the Word of God. He is the Scripture in physical human form ("for He is the fulness of the Godhead bodily").

**Why did Jesus take on a new name ?**

Jesus did not take on a new name. "Word of God" has always been who He is. However, the Book of Revelation says that He does have a new name which no one knows but Jesus. That new name will not be revealed until this world is passed away and eternity begin.

**Why did Jesus say my Father who art in heaven, is there another father ?**

Jesus was making it clear that He was not referring to an earthly, human father, but to God the Father - in heaven. There is no other father in heaven. None of our fathers are in heaven, as Jesus said, "NO ONE hath ascended up to heaven but He that came down from heaven - even the Son of Man which is in heaven." So only God the Father is in heaven, and the people knew that He meant that God the Father was literally His Father.

**Why do men call it "Good Friday" ?**

That is a Roman Catholic tradition, not a biblical Christian one. Rome has made up lots of false traditions, and Good Friday is one of them. On their crucifixes, Rome replaced the sign over Jesus' head with the simple letters "INRI" It does NOT stand for Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews. It is a symbol of the Jesuits meaning "Iusticum Necare Regis Impium" - "It is just to kill an impious king". They were murderers from the beginning, just like their father Lucifer. They believe it was right to murder Jesus - for He is the Jesuit's ultimate enemy. And that is why they call the day that Jesus died "GOOD Friday".

**Why do men tell you the number of the beast is 666 ?**

Six Hundred Sixty Six is not he number of the beast. It is the number of the beast's name. The NIV bible invented the false "number of the beast is 666" doctrine by changing a Scriptures which said:

"That no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark OR the name of the beast OR the number of his name"

to

"That no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark WHICH IS the name of the beast or the number of his name."

**Would not the number be 636 or 15?**

Can't help you with that one. It makes no sense. If you knew the power of God and His Word, you would understand why it is six hundred sixty six (NOT 6-6-6).

Let me go backwards on these questions.. \
easiest one first :-)
666 is an imperfect number, according to Jewish tradition, while 12 is a perfect number. The 666 used in Revelations spoke of anything evil in the imperfect number.. and Heaven within the number 12 the perfect number.

Good Friday: The Dutch name Goede Vrijdag translates as "Good Friday". Other languages refer to this day in different ways (mostly as Holy Friday) (this is from wiki) but
more it was about Christ's passage to life( newadvent.org)

Jesus told us God was not just his Father but He was 'our' Father, before God was very stern and scarey but now we learned from Jesus, He was also our loving Father, this was a revalation in Jewish times.

As far as the word of God is concerned that is defined as Sacred Scripture, the Old and New Testaments.

Jesus is the Word. It has been one of His names since the beginning. Jesus said some were of their father, the devil. The beast is 666. John who penned Revelation put it down. Good Friday, I am not sure. But the other things are in the Bible.

1) No. John called Him that (see John's Gospel)
2) He called Himself the Son of Man.
3) No, He just gave His Father's address, as in Father, location Heaven.
4) Christ died on Friday. And that was good for US as it re-opened the relationship God wants with each of us.
5) The number of the Beast is commonly held to be a numerological equivalent for the name of Nero. Therefore to use 636 or 15 would be to numerologically miss the point.

As you seem to be doing.

He didn't take on a new name. You misunderstood the passages. In the prayer, it's "Our father, who is in Heaven..." The prayer simply clarifies that there is one true God, and He sits in Heaven. Good Friday is the day Jesus died. WHY it's Good Friday, I haven't researched, sorry. The number of the beast is most likely NOT 666... it seems it may have been a mistranslation of the actual number. It may be something like 637 or 679. That one needs more research, which might be tough because they need the original texts.

Jesus is the Word or God's spokesman. (John 1:1) Jesis did not say he was the Word. That was a title that was given to him. Christ was another one of his titles.

"Word" was not a new name or title for Jesus. In his pre-human existence, he was God's spokesman to God's other angelic sons and to humans.

Jesus' only had one Father. It was Jehovah who dwells in heaven. John 17:3

According to the Gospels, Jesus was put to death on the Friday before Easter Day.

Six is one short of seven. Would it not be a fitting symbol of something imperfect, or defective, in God’s eyes? Yes, indeed! (1 Chronicles 20:6, 7) Moreover, six repeated three times, as 666, powerfully stresses that imperfection. That this is the correct view is supported by the fact that 666 is “a human number,” as we have considered. Thus, the beast’s record, its “human number,” and the number 666 itself all point to one unmistakable conclusion—gross shortcoming and failure in the eyes of Jehovah.

A name usually describes a person. to Understand 'Word' in your question you need to understand the meaning of the Greek Word Logos. Hence The Lord Jesus is the Logos and the Logos is Jehovah.

" In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word WAS God. .....And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us". John 1

Good question.

"...CHRIST JESUS...who being in the FORM OF GOD, thought it not robbery to be EQUAL WITH GOD: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."
(Philippians 2:5-8)
