Don't fret. Not even Tayyip will be able to change our lifestyles overnight. We will tell him to take his "valide", get on his son's ship and leave, if necessary.
PS. You can find your headsarves in Huzur Giyim. I am thinking about a franchiser... OK OK, I'm joking. Keep your chins up.

We, humans, deal with reality as we find it, not with the fuzzy world of expectations. We are still here, aren't we? Don't forget that Turkey didn't change just because Demokrat Parti won the elections a second time in time immemorial.

I am against AKP. But insinuations or open statements that undermine Turkish people's protective approach towards secularism and democracy irritates me. A non-secular Turkey is impossible. We know how this Erdogan's past is, but I am sure he will not dare to even attempt doing something that would leave him in conflict with secularism. That would be like suicide for him and his party.
There are more serious issues that I am concerned about and that is the appeasement policy akp follows when it comes to terrorism and foreign relations.
Oh well, at least there is going to be a stronger opposition in the parliament this time. Let's wait and see.

I guess people should think logically after this point. This is democracy which Ataturk established. 1/2 people walking on the streets, half of the voters living in this country voted them. To say "ampul kafalar" , "gericiler" "bilmem neler" is very disrespectful.
If these people will ever try to change the democracy, the republic, the country how it is now, again the people of this country won't let them. Not the army, the people on the streets.
People did their move. Now it's their move.

well i do understand how some parts of the country is vulnerable on that issue...but i dont think that there is such a danger...but i have to admit that there are people in akp who desire such a scene...anyway someone called army to duty..i dont wanna be rude on her but this is exactly why we are in such a situation...we always talk about democracy and human rights but we also call army to duty..the duty of rescuing the country from the traitors...when tha last time army came to duty 650.000 people were prisoned(1980)..just because of their thoguhts...and the newspapers could not print for a year(300 days)..it was blocked by the army..is this what u seek ?..lost of citizens hate the turkish republic just because of that action.. i do not defend them but i can understand how they fell...if you think that they were guilty then they must have been sentenced by laws and court..not by army...and i dont think that someone would force you to wear that..
