So we thought we wanted a Christmas wedding but we are leaning towards a summer or early fall wedding so it will be nice outside and we can have our wedding pictures outside. Well if we went with a winter wedding the colors would be red. But we are not anymore so Im stuck on colors. The only color I dont like is light pink. Any suggestions?
Thanks everyone!!!

If you like red in December, why not in the summer or fall? Red is a lovely color at any time of year.

Choose your color scheme based on what you like. Don't worry too much about season or fashion.

If you're really stuck, start looking at wedding goodies and see what color consistantly draws your eye. Is it red? Brown? Yellow? Blue? Purple? A combination of orange and cream? Go with that.

Color is one of the fun things about wedding planning because there's literally almost no way to get it wrong. Choose what makes your eyes happy.

The dress is pretty and would be very cool for a summer weading so your girls aren't sweating buckets. I don't think it is something I would ever wear again if I was one of your BMs. The style is rewearable but the fabric is very wedding/prom fabric.

Perhaps you can still have your red, just change it to a cherry red or a bright apple.

I tell all my brides to go to the paint aisle at the hardware store. They have every color under the sun almost so just spend some time putting this and that together until you get the look you want. Take a few "sets" of your wedding colors. They also come in handy to take shopping with you or the give to vendors when you want to color match or see is something looks good. Benjamin Moore paints also has a tool on their website that will let you do it.

For a summer wedding jade would be nice color.
Fall weddings usually use colors like dark orange, burnt yellows, and browns.

In the fall and summer, go with a bright or dark yellow. A gold yellow would be really pretty in the fall. A teal color. Any color you can use in the summer. Dark color use in the fall like blue, red, green, teal, etc.

I'm not loving the dress, it is not hideous but it is just not my favorite. For bridemaid dresses many people do their favorite color, or just something simple like off-white. I think you should get married in the fall, the leaves are pretty and it is just nice outside, pretty and windy so you could do some pictures of your hair blowing in the wind. But it is all you and your husbands choice.

the dress and the color in the link you put up is PERFECT for summer or fall or winter. it is not a deep red where it looks christmasy but at the same time it is bright for summer and rustic if you were to use it in fall. good choice

That color is great but the dress isn't. If the girl were small busted or large busted, either way it would not fit very well.

Many go with traditional colors like white or off white.
Many also go with their favorite colors like lavender or pastels.
You can also go with autum colors like browns, oranges, reds, earthtones.

i love that dress (almost picked it in jade) BUT the color you picked is NOT NEARLY that orange in person. its much more "burnt orange" and i didnt like it at all. (i however did like it online) try to go and look at what they have. my color is azalea and it is not nearly as hot pink as the pictures online look it is much more fushia so try not to get your heart set on anything you just see online
