Ron Paul, as he believes that amnesty would be rewarding criminals and would only lead to another wave of illegals. He has also proposed a change to the 14th. Amendment to get rid of anchor babies.

Me, if I were running. My plan would be to offer to all illegals of recruitment age - deportation or three years mandatory service in the U.S. Armed Forces. Honorably discharged immigrants would be unilaterally considered for full citizenship, with VA benefits being one-half of those currently available to native citizens.

Any new immigrants wanting to come to the United States and apply for permanent residency, three years manadatory service in the U.S. Armed Forces. All immigrants entering the country legally and serving their minimum three year enlistment would become automatically eligible for full citizenship and all VA benefits currently available to U.S. servicemembers.

Those who are above enlistment age or, for whatever reason cannot serve in the military, are to be gainfully employed by a certified government contractor either within the continental United States or abroad, until they have fulfilled their three year commitment to the security of the nation in which they wish to reside.

All illegals who refuse to comply would face deportation after a minimum prison sentence of three years.
