I had a flower tattoo on my inner wrist a few days ago. It is yellow with a green stem. It looks very bright at the moment and i was wondering if this will fade and if it doesnt, how can i go about getting it to look a bit lighter?
Sensible answers only please.

It will def. lighten up quite a bit when it is healed. I would wait at 30 to 60 days and see how it lightens on it's own. If you still don't like the appearance of the color then you can go back and have it shaded with white or a deeper yellow color. I am in the process of designing a new piece and the artist was telling me about these new colors they are using that are ridiculously bright. That is probably what you got, but they could fix it with a different type of ink if you are not happy with it. Good luck!

Strange, usually people want their tattoos to stay bright.

But you just got it done, it'll fade a little bit once it's healed.

If it's still too bright after that, you could go back to the artist and tell them you'd like it a bit darker/pastel/ect and they should do it either for free or for a smaller price.

Good luck!

It will become less bright as it heals. Just wait a couple of weeks.

it will fade over time with the sun, they say use sun screen and cover it up when you go outside so it doesn't fade, so if you like don't put sunscreen on it until it fades a little and then make sure to use sun screen when you will be in the sun for a long period of time

the sun will fade it out or will probably fade over time and they are normaly bright when u first get them because the ink is fresh and it will wear down.

it is due to the healing process.. it should go back to normal within about 2weeks if it doesnt then call your artist and talk to them... they well be able to touch it up for you to the colors you wanted.. but it should be fine
