I'm 12 turning 13 in august and i was wondering the best and easiest way to lose belly fat. I have all summer to work on actually losing the fat and then the school year for super quick ways to maintain it, because i'll have a LOT of school work (i'm in the I.B. program) I don't have really any money to spend on it, i just need good easy ways. If you can, please give idea's for losing weight inside, not outside, because it gets really hot here (the high 90's) in the summer. Thanks!

You're still so young!! I know it's rough trying to look like the girls in the magazines but because you're only 12 (almost 13) and your body is still developing so I wouldn't suggest you go trying to lose weight anytime soon. What you can do, and I know it sucks, is exercise. Crunches and sit-ups are free and combat belly fat. You can also cut down on the amount of fat you're consuming by not eating fast food or drinking cokes. Yeah it's yummy but it can really pack on the pounds. Good luck... if nothing else, try to buy some clothes that don't accentuate your belly area and no one will be able to tell the difference!

Tops like the one shown here http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_16/602-0158020-7213472?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000Q7FDX6 that are cut to where they sit under your boobs and flow outwards help cover belly fat and they're cute!

The first, very important advice that I will give you, is to completely ignore the users who say "do situps; it works for me". Spot reducing does NOT work, from a physiology standpoint, it is impossible. You can tone and strengthen your abs through situps/crunches, it may make your stomach look better and firmer, and the exercise in doing so may cause you to lose weight, but it will not be localized to your abdomen. Eat sensibly (cut out "empty calories, such as cokes, candy bars, cookies, etc), say no to second-portions, and exercise regularly. Walking is a terrific low-impact approach to losing weight, as it not only burns calories, it raises your metobolic rate throughout the day, even while you're asleep. Doing the above steps will cause most people who do not have underlying medical problems causing weight gain/retention to lose weight. Good luck!

The best way to lose weight is doing exercise.

The best type of exercise for weight loss is something you ENJOY DOING and are likely to continue doing - not just while losing weight but also as you maintain weight in the long term.

Your initial fitness goal should be to do 30 minutes of exercise each day. Thereafter, gradually increase this (ideally) to about 60 minutes of exercise per day.

The best combination of exercise is a mixture of aerobic and weight/strength training (and stretching). Aerobic and weight/strength training exercises both assist weight loss but in different ways.

Check out http://fitness-secret.info , there are some great exercise for weight loss you can choose.

That is not going to help you! Not having enough sugar in your body, is unhealthy! The Key to a new body is consistency. When you decide how you want to loose weight stick to it. The gym is a great place to loose weight, especially since it can be a socail environment. Bring some friends along to work out with you, they can make it fun to work out! Healthy eating is also an important key to loosing weight. But crash diets are not good for you, and acually if you do not eat your body goes through dramatic phases and may make you even larger because your metabolism slows down, thinking that you may be starving! If you buy unhealthy foods or if they are around you, you will be tempted to eat them. Sorround yourself with healthy but good-tasting foods. If you are a couch potato work out while you are watching television. Good luck!

make a goal on how many pounds you will loose in amonth... an average range is 1 lb.= 1 week.

if you have many school work..try curl ups for about 5 mins. & increase the duration every week for about 2 mins. if your body can tolerate it then continue & also try belly dancing it is good also to loose belly fats.

Make pancakes even healthier by building mashed baked sweet potato, a few pureed spinach and blueberries, or even cooked quinoa.
