Get yourself a tube of Hydrocortisone cream and apply it liberally to the rash. I've had this many times myself. I have 2 cats. I'd be willing to guess that your boyfriend has this same rash too.

You've got "cat scratch fever". It's nothing too serious. When cats use their litter box and the box isn't kept as clean as it could be (Hey, the guy's got 3 of 'em!)...the litterbox grows bacteria that thrives in the cat's urine and poo. As the cats scratch in the box, it gets on their paws and fur. When you pick up the cat, or if it scratches you or kneads you...you're getting some of that bacteria onto your skin.

If it's not washed away afterwards, the bacteria has a chance to grow onto and into your skin and give you a VERY itchy infection.

So, two things here...get your boyfriend to clean the litter box, disinfect it (a little Lysol or bleach)...refill it with fresh cat litter, and keep it clean from now on. Then use hydrocortisone cream on the rash for a few days and it'll go away.

If your boyfriend hasn't added any new animals it could be a reaction to something new you have started puting on or using on your hands. If you have recently switched soaps or lotions try switching back. Check and see if your boyfriend has recently switched soaps at his place. To get rid of the rash try buying some over the counter cortizone cream. If that doesn't work go see a doctor about it.

I had red bumps on the parts in between each finger on both hands they really itched and looked weird. I finally got to a doctor and it was strep throat. Go to the doctor and if you have already been to the doctor ask for them to test for strep throat or if they already tested for strep throat test again. If you have not had cats in your house for long periods of times or never had cats or dogs ever you may be allergic to cat or dog dander.

Most likely allergic reaction! You must go to a skin specialist and confirm that, and get it treated early, before it becomes a 'stubborn' condition.
