to be honest there is no best way for contracption beside abstainence. U can try anything but there is always a risk. Nothing is guartee. A condom may break or slip off. A birth control pill can not be useful if u accidentally forget to take it for more than a day or so. In my opinion, everything has a risk beside abstainence. So, my advice is don't to it unless u r ready for sex and ready for the consquence of sex.

Well I am on the IUD and that has hormones but they don't enter your bloodstream (so no weight gain) . It is inserted into the uterus and it doesn't get taken out for 5 to 7 years depending on wether you get the marina or the other one that I forget the name of. You can have it removed at any time when you decide you want to start a family. It is supposed to lessen the length and flow of your periods too....
The only thing is it does not protect you from disease so condoms are also a good idea for anyone who is not in a long term relationship!
The other birth control I liked was the Nuva Ring.... you put it in and leave it in for 3 weeks... take it out for 1 week and you can kind of use it to decide when you want to have your period... your period will not start until the ring is removed....
good luck :)

Tht is a myth what the pill does is send messages to your brain saying that you have stopped growing and your body jus stops growing that is the down side to the pill. The best form of contraception is the condom as it protects form pregnancy and STI's

The pill doesnt necessarily make you put on weight and it will protect you from pregnancy more than a condom will. I would go on the pill and use condoms to stop you from catching and stds.

Well i use to use the pills then i stopped. It's does make you gain weight to be honest. Because your period comes alot lighter.
But it's better to use the pills and be safe love.
If not let your b/f use a condom.
Best of luck.
