Absolutely. GOD has answered many of my questions this way. I contemplate some question, and find it answered when i open the Bible to a scripture, i might say "random" but i know it was the HOLY SPIRIT which led me to this particular place.

That is a poor way to gain understanding of the Scriptures.

For example, in some Scriptures Jesus says "go and do likewise." In another passage Scriptures say "judas hanged himself." These passages are not related and each passage is understood in it's own context.

Isolated passages are easily misunderstood

Sure have. I even read a Bible verse off of a car license plate and looked it up and it became my favorite verses. Psalm 40. God can speak to you in many ways.

That's bibliomancy, a form of divination, and I was under the impression that that was a big no-no for Christians.

Yes I have many many times. sometimes I am blown away by it because it seems to be just for me and just for that moment. Pretty cool supernatural event: courtesy of GOD>
