not the "side-affects" but the immidiate effects...

They won't elevate the mood past normal in a normal person, if that's what you mean. Mood and behavior changes can be noted, but they'd pretty well by definition be defined as side effects.

Since the medicine starts affecting the Serotonin levels, difficult to predict what will happen if the person is normal. The effects of overdose in patients and the effects of a normal dose on a normal person may be similar.

I was given prozac to enhance my pain tolerance not for depression and was quite normal . I will tell you I was not normal after taking it . I became loud , rude , uninhibited . Spent money I didnt have . Id say I became manic from the drug . But I didnt notice of course . Those close to me had to break it to me in a polite way . Dont mess with perfection , if its not broken dont fix it understand .

i was on Prozac to help with my o.c.d and they worked really well after about 2 weeks.a friend of mine was on them for depression though and they made her very aggressive.depends on the person

How do you define normal?
I would guess that it affects everybody slightly differently.

normal people surly would not need or want to take prozac.
