I know it sounds corny to ask if I can see into the future, but I had this kind of daydream that I was driving and some guy was going to hit me on the interstate. The next day I was on the interstate and I was hit exactly like what I saw. What does this mean?

owner_of_a_lonely_CA…I completely get what your saying about people only recognizing what they did see and not what they didn't. The chances of most of those famous psycics getting it wrong to right are more than likely a million to 3. It probably was just a cowinkidink although I have had more than one "preminition", but it was about the past. I had a dream that I saw my Aunt Clara knocking her head against the side of her old house and cracking it. Turns out when I told her about my dream, she told me that it really happened. I'm not quite sure about that. I beleive psycic abilities are a hoax.

chocolahoma...I also understand your opinion on that, but Like I said I think psychic abilities are false. You see it or you don't.

People through out ages have felt like they can tell the future. But when the newer scientific methods are used, it turns out that there's not much credit to that notion.

What the scientists / researchers do is for people to LOG EVERY thing they "sensed". If they didn't log it BEFORE hand it doesn't count. It turns out that most people forget about all the times they were wrong and only remember the one they got it right.

The same goes for those world famous psychics. If you look at the their past prediction it might seem quiet amazing. But then if you were to compare them too all the "predictions" that never came through, then you kind of get the idea they are just shooting in the dark, and shoot enough times you will hit something.

There was this king who went hunting through his forest. Then he saw an arrow embedded in a tree right in the center of a bulls eye. Then later he say another and another. Pretty soon he found a forest full of dead-on bulls-eye arrow shots. So the king was impressed and decided to make this mystery marksman the command of his archery.

Finally when he found the archer he was shocked to find it was just a little boy. So he asked, how he did it all. The boy said it was really simple. He was never able to shoot like other boys. So finally he decide to shoot first then draw the circles around the arrow after-wards.

So if you don't know, anybody can make the "prediction" fit the facts later on.

During the cold wars the USA's CIA and USSR's KGB spent lots of time and money researching psychics. In the end it was all just waste of time.

That's not to say that I don't believe in supernatural events. If you believe in the Bible, there's a story of a "servant" girl who could predict the future and made lots of money for her master. But it says that that power was exorcised out of her, because it was some demon that possesed her and she didn't even know it. But those are "super" natural events and I don't think they happen anymore (I don't know why).

Good Luck.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure. But I've had the same sort of thing happen - like have a dream that someone I haven't seen in a long time is at a certain place, and then find our they were actually there. Did I really 'know' that on some unconscious level? Or was it just a coincidence? Interesting question I'll give you a star.

I would no exactly call it seeing into the future, but everyone can have premianisions and just not recognise them we all have a pyschi ability some people never use it, or don't beliveit, you my frined experienced what is known as a preminision, don't ignore that stuff it has saved lives be fore, like the people that get a gut feeling of getting on a plane adn they do not only to fnd out it crashed, you must belive in some of these things it dosn't make you a nut..

In a way yes. There are some things that have cause and effect and they are directly related. For exemple, if I dont work at all and have any income, your future looks very poor. Or if you dont care about your teeth...you will prbably have cavities. Things are also connected on other levels...but that will become more complicated to explain here.

im not sure wat it means but i hav heard of this happening to ppl...there r even some tv shows about it...the advice i would give is c if a dream like this happens again and if it does then u kno something is going on...if it doesnt then maybe it was a HUGE coincidence...but i suggest telling ppl that u trust if it happens again so they believe u if u tell them something bad is going to happen...otherwise u can just say that u hav an amazing gift!

Coincidences convince us of supernatural powers because they are uncommon and memorable.

If you'd dreamt that you had an ordinary day and nothing unusual happened, and THAT came true, would you still think you're psychic??
