We know that as believers God has a love for us that cannot be seperated by anything, but ourselves. Romans 8:31 asks the question who can be against the believers since God is for the believers. Romans 8:35-39 lists what cannot seperate us from God's love. Nothing can, except ourselves. The only way that the love of God can be seperated from us is if we seperate ourselves from God's love. Now to the question. God has this love and because of it He will do anything to keep us protected. If God be for what we are doing as believers then who can stop us. Though some may try, the only person that can truly stop the work of the believer is the believer himself. So I ask once more "If God be for us, who can be against us?"

Truly Satan has no power over us, except for what God gives him. And why would God stop the works of the believers, rather the work of God.

The question is more prophetic than most people realize. Not only do attempts to quelch the spread of the gospel fail, but they always end-up causing revivals and spreading the word further.
Those who fled persecution took the gospel with them, and spred the word where they stopped.
Under Nero, the underground churches flourished, as under every other Roman persucution.
"If God be for us, who can be against us?" - No one. Those who try eventually become tools to the cause themselves.

You Have the answer already. God could Never be against what He made. Since He IS Love, then we are loved. Only the small personality could be against itself, for it judges and usurps authority over what it could never author. Mans idea of a God of vengeance is the personality or ego's way of not seeing that the vengeance is in man.

Yur out of touch. What makes you believe that there is a god? Further, what makes you so sure this god even cares about you? If this god has power over satan (whatever that may be) then why is the world such a miserable place for the majority of its inhabitants? There is a difference between blind faith and thinking positively. From the observations I have made, I would have to conclude that if there is a god, this god is undeniably against us.

That is a good and valid point. We are the ones to allow Satan back into our hearts. How many times have we read on here alone people saying they were christians, something happened to them and instead of standing up to it, they just turn agnostic or atheist. I also like, "The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can 'man' do unto me?" Psalm 118:6 Thanks for the question.

Satan has complete power over lukewarm Christians because by being lazy in their faith they unwittingly allow Satan to control them bit by bit until he is able to run their lives.
Some people are so weak in their faith that all it takes for them to reject Christ is for them not to instantly get everything they ever wanted, which is really pathetic.

Too true!
The Lord can only Go as far in us as we will allow. It always amazes me that this Unlimited. all Powerful .. Almighty God has limited Himself to our cooperation. All too often we keep the Lord as a prisoner in our spirits. He desires to make home in all of our hearts through faith.. This is really a crucial matter in our christian life. Will we allow the Lord to spread out into our soul...to transform it in its Mind Emotions and Will? Or will be continue to be the Ones sitting on the throne of our hearts rather than the Lord.
But Praise the Lord.. HE is determined to FINISH what HE started in us. May our hearts be turned to the Lord.so that the veils can be taken away.. that we can see something of what He desires to do in all of us.
That Christ May make HOME ( one home) in our hearts ( many hearts) through Faith, that you being rooted and grounded in Love
Eph 3:17
May we free ourselves of any kind of insulation..any barriers between us and God. That He will be the First love and the Best love in our lives. May our Lord always look out for any kind of things persons and matters in our life that will frustrate Him from Making home in our hearts. He goes as far as we allow Him..
Our Prayer should be" LORD JESUS.. I open up my heart to give you room to grow. You are in my spirit as a starting point to spread and grow in my heart .. and in the hearts of all the brothers and sisters..Lord I give you all the ground.. feel free in me..do not be a prisioner any longer... I love You Lord Jesus!"
Ty for the post and the words of life Brother.. Keep abiding in Him...
Your sister

You are not to add to the scriptures!! It does not say that we can separate ourselves from God. Ever read the story of the 99 sheep?
