It depends on how you interpret it... I don't have a problem with the actual God as I see him (Pantheist). But when it comes to the typical Christian interpretation of God: some big guy who makes the rules you have to dance by, or else you'll be sent to Hell and be cooked in a cauldron of tar - THAT is a God I I have a problem with.

The fanclub is a different issue: I'd tar and feather all those arrogant fanatic loonies.

Nice quote by the way - I like it :P

Yes and no.

I don't believe that "God" could possibly have a gender. So this whole Lord business that people use is just wrong. And I don't call it "God." Because it's not something that will answer my letters.

And, you're right I cannot stand the fan club. Most are like paparazzi going after lookalikes but of course have never seen the real thing. What a bunch of losers. lol

Unfortunately, sometimes I feel the same way you do. I'm a leader in a local christian congregation and sometimes I can't bear to be around people to call themselves christians because they don't act very Christ-like. I've had my heart broken more than once by a fellow believer.

"I'm not afraid of your god. I'm afraid what you'll do in the name of your god."

I don't agree... I have a big problem with the God concept. Not only is this "God" entity completely unworthy of worship, but his fan club is a dangerous and deadly lot.

Nicely said, but I don't believe in a fictitious character.

No. God doesn't exist. The fact that he has a fan club is absurd.

YES...GOD agree.
for those who place themselves "UNDER THE LAW"
are cursed.
and those who accept the deliverance of the LAW
by FAITH
and are led by the holy spirit of power, of love and truth
will conquer every schemes of the devil..in man..in religion as well in the government and the world.

there are 2 kinds of christians.
the pesecutor against jesus
the the follower of jesus..of POWER..of LOVE and soundmind.
we/they need to be "BORN AGAIN"..dead in sin's will..
and alive in spirit of God..in us.
gal.2:20 said.it is not I that live.but Christ in me that lives.
so you see..the power to love..the unjust..and idiots..and ignorance..the diseases..the prisoners..ect..are them WHOM christ..and us..need to preach to.
JESUS..rebuke the pharisee..them who follow "THE LAW".
JESUS..came to FULLFILLED the LAW.
so by FAITH..in his GRACE..in his BLOOD..and born again.
ALL things are possible '....by FAITH"s WORKS".
LOVE works are byproduct of obedience.
FAITH's works are the works of eyes to see..ears to hear..tongue in control..which no man can conquer without the spirit of GOD..in them..

Hmmm...

You know how you REALLY have no problem with something? You never give THOUGHT to it. It never enters your consciousness.
