I have not met that many. About 2 is all I have met. Others I consider friends, but do not consider good Christians because they preach say things like they do not want to see me in hell bla, blah blah, I have tried helping one who became dear to me but kept preaching and bringing up subjects and yesterday told me she was leaving yahoo and that I was bringing her down due to my negative outlook on life.
My negative outlook is being Wiccan, believing all paths lead to Deity, believing that many people have dreams and visions that can be beneficial, but there are many that are just caused by mental illness and the person receiving these must be able to know the difference. I would not come back to Jesus at her pleading, so I was too negative for her.
You can't please or help everyone and I understand full well that many Christians will preach no matter what.
I have heard from 2 that were non judgmental, understanding and not preachy. wish those would email me more often. LOL.

I would agree, it is similar to your last question that I answered. People are easily brought to anger by others remarks. I would like to point out the Jesus always understood the people he was talking to. But not only did he understand there background he never lost his cool. If you have truth then what is there to fear in opposition to it. I would not say though I personally condemn only my fellow Christians. Fisrt my self, then Christians, then others. But never in Anger but only with what I understand as truth from scripture. And if I am wrong I am alway open to being corrected as long as it is with the backing of Scripture. So it is never me that condemns a person it is Gods word. My word is sinful and will be until the day I am compleatly redeemed from it. I try my best though I dont alway succed.
All you or any others say including Christians I will hold to The word, Jesus Christ. if it falls short then I will not take interest in it.

Hi,
Metal sharpens metal, and any "Good Christian" welcomes good intellectual debate. It help both side of the debate grow as you say. I hope you read my answer to your question yesterday. I know I came down heavy on you with my little morale of the story, but you need to get some help with your depression. I hope you get up and get out, and start living again. God knows exactly what you have lost, and he does care..... even if you don't think He's listening.....He is. It's a great sunny day here! I hope it is where you are! Did you watch a sunset last evening? If not, maybe tonight!

There are a few who are good Christians.
They are honest and speak the truth, and let the Spirit do it's work
They say I don't know when they cannot recite scripture.
They are truly generous in Spirit, reaching out to anyone in need, (I agree)
They say what needs to be said, because that is what they believe they need to say it...even if it comes off as preachy.
They do not condemn anyone, including there fellow Christians for they know that the only accuser of the brethren is Satan. And they know that only God can condemn.
They will continue to encourage you to show hypocrisy and wicked desires of evil men who claim to raise the banner of Christ as their standard, but instead raise the banner of themselves and their self interests. They will do the same themselves as they grow.
Though I do not agree entirely with what you have said, I do appreciate that you have the right to say what you feel. And I know that you have the same appreciation for what I have to say. Though we do not agree let us get along, for what good does it do to anyone to tear them down. We must build up one another, and I have the call to let my light shine before you. That is what I say.
In Jesus Name

I don't remember finding all these qualities in one person, but I admire 1. someone calm and can flow in most situations. 2. Someone loving, helping and giving. 3. Someone who makes their Christianity work for them. 4. Somone not judgmental, actually following what they are supposed to believe. 5. Someone who is knowledgable and reasonably deep, especially in understanding the spirit,. rather than the letter.

Yes, those particular Christians are great. Although you may not find many on this site, there are actually quite a few like that in my life!

what say i? i say your condescending attitude, generalization and stereotyping, and lack of any examples with which to back your anti-Christian rants, are more revealing than your futile attempts to cloak your hatred in pseudo-intellectual posturing...give me a good old-fashioned HONEST Christian hater any day...at least they have enough intellectual honesty to make their feelings known openly...and some of them actually KNOW the definition of a Christian...maybe it's time for you to drop the act-it's not playing too well in peoria
