No.

Bose is over-hyped, poorly made, lousy sounding rubbish, priced way above what it is worth. It's all about the look, not the sound quality.
You don't believe me? Do a back-to-back comparison with Bose and a product from ANY other manufacturer at the same price. You will then hear for yourself just how poorly the Bose kit sounds.

People get suckered in to buying Bose by the sales patter, not by the sound quality. If direct/reflecting speakers are so good, why does no-one else make them...?

Bose is a triumph of marketing over common sense - stick with common sense and don't buy it.

Bose offer 'lifestyle products' and they're good as far as that goes though you pay a premium for the name.
i build my own stuff and would put the amp i built for about $50us against ANYTHING bose have...but then i would say that huh?

still - if you want something flash and 'lifestyle' this is really, REALLY yummy sounding -

Bear in mind the relationship between price and quality. If you buy 10 quid speakers, don't expect great sound reproduction. Buy something like Bose and you will get distortion free sound even and volume levels that will have blown the cheap speakers off their coils!

Yes these Bose speakers etc are sometimes on qvc and ar Quality and are worth every penny, but if you can get a deal on them buy them, i swear you will not regret it.

Please mail me to tell me what your decision is as i'd be very interested to know your decision.
