no, they are loaded with calories
plus, they put stain on your heart, which is already strained by the heavy exercise, which is not good, especially if you're not used to working out
They are good for an occasional all-nighter, but they are definitely not good for loosing weight

About 8 years ago, I was overweight. I decided to lose weight and get back to something that resembles a nice body. I did it in a year, but it took a lot of effort. Yes, eat healthier foods and smaller portions, and excercise within the limits of what your body can tolerate. As you continue, your body will gradually be able to tolerate more excercise. Doing too much too fast can cause more harm. What helped me the most is dancing. I used to do Country Line Dancing, and I had classes every week for 3 hours. So - my advice (aside from the above) would be to find some demanding physical activity that you enjoy - outside of your regular excercise routine. That too will help you lose weight and tone your body.

Powerade and Red Bull are not dietary drinks - they are energy drinks and will give you a boost. A mouthful here and there during your excercise routine will help keep you going.

Good luck. I'm rooting for you.

Redbull boosts ur metabolism (bad spelling) If you want to lose a little weight you should use the sugar free Red Bull. Powerade just has added sugar.

neither one are likely to help you lose weight. These drinks can increase your energy during a workout, but it is mostly due to sugar and caffeine. To lose the weight , a sensible lifestyle(you will notice that I didnt use the word "diet" ) and exercise will work wonders.
