If you are talking about vitamin and mineral supplements you will wait forever, they have no therapeutic effects at all.

It actually depends on what supplement you are taking. Some you will notice results within an hour (good example is Celadrin for arthritis sufferers). Others it needs to build up in your system for days or even months (another example is glucosamine. You need to take 1500mg of glucosamine for about 2 months before it begins working to its optimum level).
Keep in mind that a lot of supplements you are not actually going to get visible results. Vitamin D supplements are essential for a lot of us ( we just are not outdoors like we were 40 years ago) but you won't actually see an improvement. Rather it will help to prevent diseases from occurring. Would you have gotten that disease if you didn't take the supplement? Who knows? Actually you would never know.

They've been designed to take a life-time. They never work or improve your health. It's merely a recurring income generator, that's the only part that works well.
The secret lies in a balanced diet of healthy nourishing foods, as simple as that.

It depends on the supplement and what you are taking it for. Normally it takes one month to three months.
