I have a cat who will be 3 next April and she isn't spayed yet. I plan on doing this soon though. She pees in random spots (she IS litterbox trained) and has no interest in the male cats around. My question is...If i get her spayed, will she stop "spraying" or will this continue to go on?
Also, I plan on moving to Hawaii next year...will the new environment cause her to misbehave? Or should it not affect her any?
Anyyyy tips or advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated!

My indoor female cat didn't get spayed till she was 5, and her spraying/peeing stopped soon as she'd had the operation. In my case, yes it did stop.

She might change a bit after being spayed. She might not show any interest in the other male cats at this moment but when she goes into heat she sure will! There's no specific time of day when that will happen so I suggest keeping her away from unneutered males till fixed. Actually keeping her indoors would be a good idea.
Hawaii?? Wow! Sounds nice. Your cat will go through a period of adjustment when you move. It won't be easy on your kitty. Since you & your pet will fly out there, there will be some stress on your cat because it won't be able to be near you during the flight. It has to stay in its cage wherever they keep animals. So expect maybe some behavior issues at first. Nothing bad I don't think but once your cat has calmed down from the trip and settled in, she should be just fine. Just show her lots of love & attention.

Spaying might or might not help with the spraying part. While she's spraying, she's probably in heat and advertising it.
The new environment might frighten her some. Don't be too worried if she hides for about 3 days before coming out to explore: That's normal for cats. But do keep an eye on her, and make sure she knows where her food, water, and box are.

Are you sure it's a female cat? Females dont really spray although they can pee in spots you dont want.
Cats pretty much litterbox train themselves. She may be having a urinary problem, see a vet.
And yes, moving can be enormously stressful for a cat. Dont take it lightly.
Try to understand the mind of your cat, if even from a general perspective. Research, get all the information you can. There are those of us who have moved only to discover that our cat's personality has changed drastically.
Moving can be a bigger deal for your cat than for you. Understand there there may be elements in your environment thatyou are not aware of but your cat is. She hears and smells things that you cant. She may find her new environment very threatening, from her point of view, not yours.

Has she always done this peeing around thing or did it start suddenly? If she didn't always do it she may have a urinary problem. Cats sometimes start peeing around to let you know there is a health problem. So you would have to take her to the vet. Whether getting her fixed will help the problem deppends on what is causing the problem to begin with, but getting her fixed will help to avoid some serious health problems later in life.
She will adjust to the move, just prepare ahead for the travelling part of it. When you get to your new home she might hids and lurk around for a few days, but she will adjust to it.

I would get her fixed but I dont think that is the problem, I'm thinking its more of a behavioural issue, it could be anything, lack of attention, something shes not happy with, maybe she's being picky about her littler box or where its kept. I'd ask the vet on that one or she could have a bladder infection. When you move to Hawaii, she may have some issues but she should come out of it once she gets comfortable in her new environment.

i have a frind who got her cat spayed like 4 years ago. And her car pee's and shits all over the place. i dont think this would help go ask a vet, or just call a local one im sure they will give you info over the phone. another thing, the cat will be all wierd with liveing in a diffrent enviroment but in 3-4 weeks he will get accustomed to it.
