the other day, on my old windows 98 computer it said invalid system disk.
We do not have out windows 98 CD, so i got a floppy disk and got did a disk scan.
It found some errors and fixed it, and windows now flashes to the loading screen then goes back to:

I read some answers.
i know 98 sucks. its just an old computer.
I tried restore aswell but it said it could not complete it.
i think its the boot files.

If you had its own CD....you could have format it...
.....so if you dont have wondows 98 's CD....you should buy one....
but you know.....
let me tell you something....windows 98 and ME....they are nothing to me...
nothing works on it...
everything's diffrent than windows XP and Vista...
it sux...and at the same time its anti-virus program is so not strong...it dosnt even work...
so you should just leave that one, and buy Vista or any other windows...
cuz 98 and ME...are really old ..nobody uses it anymore exept me and you maybe..lolz...j/p....

It sounds like you have a damaged "boot.ini file. To repair this you will need to reload Win98 over the top of it's self. This will require a Win98 disk. You may be able to get one on E-bay.
But be sure not to put this OS on the web because it is no longer supported by Microsoft and is just full of security holes.

There could be several problem with your PC. There is a probability that your Windows boot files have corrupted and so it might not bootup. You should probably consider asking one of a Techie friend to help you out .
