Faith for me is the willingness to follow in my heart for the Lord God. The inspiration and events unexplained, but good. The trust that i have, that when i fall, he will catch me. Even if i'm stuck under a boulder under the waves, the waves saying i'll never win...Faith is trusting the voice that says don't be afraid, keep trying to get out. Just look at the story of David and Goliath. David, a scrawny little kid, trusted in God and took down a giant with a sling and a rock. Now THAT'S faith.
God Bless.

I don’t need faith to believe that God, The Christ, and The Holy Spirit exist. I’ve had personal experience with them. The only faith problem I have is when I have a problem that I believe should be solved in a certain way, then I struggle with believing it will be handled correctly. It’s insane, but true. I end up struggling with faith that whatever it is will turn out alright. When I finally surrender, it’s always just fine. But, it’s really crazy for me to pull tug-o-war with God!
Blessed Be

The Bible says Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for though not yet beheld. I think this means that we really hope that things will turn out the way we want even though we can't know what the future holds for us. Its believing that there is someone in control of things and that person is able to bring about the hopes and desires of all living things.

Acting on the belief. Simple example, when one walks into a room, one believes that the chair has the support to hold ones own weight. Faith is acting on that belief, therefore, one will sit in the chair. In this example, without faith, one would not sit but stand.

In the Bible, it's the "substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things unseen."
To me, this means that I trust fully that God is fully wise
and loves me so much, His wonderful promises
will be done! I can even say they have already been
done since time is only temporary and also
unsubtantial compared to eternity! This life is more like a
shadow, yet our deeds count!
God will do and does much more and much better than
we could possibly even ask, hope, imagine or think!
Faith is the action I have in my heart of trust in lieu of
getting to know who God is and His character.
Jesus said, "Let it be done according to your faith!"
Faith is very powerful!

The term comes from the Bible so we shouldn't use our own words.
The Greek word behind "faith" in the NT is pistis. As a noun, pistis is a word that was used as a technical rhetorical term for forensic proof.
It is not "blind" faith it is a knowing faith that God can be taken on his Word.

Faith is admitting one doesn't have all the evidence, but does have enough evidence to make a choice as to what to believe based on the preponderance. Faith goes beyond the evidence, but not contrary to the evidence.

Lord I believe help me in my unbelief. Probably my greatest cry for help. Then He saved me. He filled me with a love I didn't think existed.
It's hard for an old war scarred sinner to have faith in anyone or any institution.
When He filled me He removed all doubt and it was His greatest gift to me. He let me do it my way. He proved Himself to me and then He saved me.
I have no problems with unbelief anymore and my faith is complete.
Thank You Jesus for being My God!
God Bless!
