Why do I always like guys that don't like me back? And the ones that like me, I don't want?

I am never satisfied....I always seem to want what I can't have or isn't good for me.

Sunny, you remind me of my aunt. When I asked why she never married, she said it really came down to, what she wanted, she couldn't get; and what she could get, she wouldn't have. :) I don't mean that in a mean-spirited way, either. Sometimes, you like the guys who don't like you because we all have that little competitive edge that says "bet I can, too!". The ones who like you are too easy right now. It's the thrill of the hunt, right now. If one of those guys who don't like you back came on to you, you'd probably think "Ewwww!" Relax and enjoy. I would advise you to stay away from the ones who aren't good for you, though. No need inviting disaster,.

I think a lot of people feel like that. When you think about it its really incredible that 2 people can fall in love with each other, out of all the possibilities they choose you and you choose them. Thats why in so many relationships one of the people always likes the other just a bit more than the other does. But regardless, you cant help who you're attracted to and you'll just have to keep waiting until you do meet someone who will like you back. Whatever you do dont settle for anyone just because you've given up - you never know who you might meet tomorrow.

It's just how it goes!!! If you actually have an honest conversation with anybody about their experiences they'll tell you it's been the same with them!! most people just pretend like it's all peachy though.

I think there's something wrong with the human psyche these days!! nothing's ever good enough, and it doesn't just apply to relationships!!

my advice: if a guy likes you, try to see the best in him. i mean, you can tell reasonably early on whether he's a nice guy or not, whether you get along really well or not...those things will be obvious to you whether or not you think you like him. if you think he's cool and you enjoy his company, maybe give him a shot! from personal experience, that can REALLY surprise you and work out really well.

I've wondered this muh self, not about you, about me. I've put it down to an evolutionary trait.
If theres one person that is has 'better' genes than you and they know it, then they wont be interested in you. subconsciously you go for them because there might be a chance to mate and take his genes to your kids. Thats my idea anyway
