I mean, let's face it immigration is the cause of all the other problems in Beautiful Britain from crime, failed NHS, bad football, bad food, bad comedy, useless Public Transportation and overwhelmed Public Services (even stupid ignorant questions on YA) - so why hasn't the bad weather been blamed on immigrants from outside the golden shores of these Sceptred Iles too?

rekordze:
Most towns were built on river flood plains - for example Carlisle and London - both of which are subject to horendous flooding ... were it not for the Thames Barrier London would have been flooded several times in the last decade alone.
Of course, you could make a valid point that building on flood plains is not a good idea, and now that we know it's bad we should find another solution ...

BORAT:
I know all this and agree wholeheartedly - I was wondering why we haven't seen a bunch of ignorant BNP SPAM questions on YA blaming immigrants for the flood that's all!

lol. Have a star!

I think they must be to blame. The recent influx has (literally) unbalanced the country, preventing rainwaters from draining away.

OK this is a sarcastic immigrant question but believe it or not mass immigration instantly produces millions of high carbon footprint residents, they then contribute 20 times more to global warming in the UK and USA than they would have in the Islamic or African areas where they came from.

I mean, let's face it you are in denial about the scientifically proven facts against mass migration

rekordze, you make a good point without the millions of increase in population due to mass immigration we have suffered in the UK we would have the space to build houses in flood free positions

This is really ridiculous !, you have linked the above problems to immigration, if you are blind let me tell you these points:
1) Without immigrants your NHS would have collapsed ( 40 % of doctors and 60% of nurses are immigrants !

2) Without immigrants you have no other kind of food to eat but Fish and Chips !.

3) Most of football clubs' good players are not british !

4) Without immigrants there will be no Bus drivers !.

5) Immigrants are doing the f**king dirty jobs, you are unable to do !

Who else could it be? Unless it's Moody Trojans illegal Texas Aztecs with their rain dance, or maybe it's a mad scientist messing about with the weather.

you could argue that the increase in imigration has result in an increaded need for housing, hence building in areas previously left - i.e flood plains. also destruction of forest, resulting in soil errosion and destruction of natrual flood barriers
