God is smart enough, salvation is silly.
All roads lead home.
Some are just more circuitous than others are.
The idea that only one path leads back home to God assumes a God so incompetent that he can't even organize a simple educational field excursion and get all of the student’s home safely.
This amounts to saying that God has a plan for your salvation, but He was not smart enough to come up with one that would work 100 percent of the time.
How likely is that?
Love and blessings.

The idea of salvation changes nothing.
The relationship involved in salvation should change everything.
I am not obsessed with salvation. I am attentive to
a daily relationship with Christ.
It seems people that dislike and disdain the "salvation crowd" are most obsessed. This is seen in the endless dribble to disprove and maligning the concept of salvation, of scripture, and of God.
It is seen in the constant ridicule and barrage of condescending remarks. So, who then in practice is
judgmental, shallow, and self absorbed.
It is obvious from postings, that Atheist hold their own intellect as god. A belief system?

I don't think selfishness is even applied to this. Every person has to fend for themselves when it comes to salvation. Your own soul needs to be dealt with first. It is just truth. It doesn't make you self-absorbed. We resist temptation, so we are rather, self-denying.

I find that religion based on salvation actually causes the saved to be come self-righteous... Better than, the unsaved.

That's the trick. Being unselfish is showing charity which is the true and pure love of Christ. As long as we practice charity, our salvation is in the bag.
