Divine knowledge cannot be acquired by our "mental gymnastics" or by study, reading, even meditation etc.
(although sometimes divine knowledge is obtained in any way- we place no limit to God of course)
Divine knowledge is BEST obtained through the mercy of God Himself, through sad guru.
If you did a study of all the vedas, you would also see that therein it is stressed that Guru is needed to get divine knowledge. all sastras point to sadhu.
"Sadhu sang sadhu sanga sarva sastra kaya"
Krsna says Himself,
"tad vidhi pranipatena pariprasnena sevaya,
upadiksyanti te gyanam gyaninas tattva darshinam"=
if you want to realize divine knowledge you must approach that person who has realized this knowledge. Surrender yourself to such a person, ask this person questions and render service to that person.
If one wants to learn the absolute highest thing, wouldn't it be logical that you need a teacher to guide you? Even mundane knowledge cannot be had without a teacher.
There is so much more to tell here, but I'll just end here.
Always a pleasure to answer your good questions which keep to high topics, reminding me of Guru and God
:-)

'The two statements, 'I know Brahma' and 'I do not know Brahma' are simply inappropriate and contradictory because Brahma is himself knowledgeable and is beyond understanding. Therefore divine knowledge can only be experienced, not expressed. It is not possible to understand, make others understand and to say something about it.
Those who realize the divine knowledge do not in the least have ego of their knowledge. People absorbed in divinity feel that God himself knows us. There is no one who can take us across. Brahma Jnana is not something to know and keep. It is wrong and illogical to say 'I am knowledgeable'. There is no one instrument or means that can be instrumental in realization of the Divine Truth therefore for the curious, Brahma is always unknown.
The energy one is endowed with to realize god is in reality bestowed by God upon man. Human birth is hard to get and the person who indulges in everything but in realization of divine knowledge is committing an incorrigible folly.
The Shrutis say- Until this human body is existing, until all the things required for realization are being made available by divine blessings, one should as soon as possible realize the eternal divine truth so that it accrues in the well being of all. If one loses this opportunity it will be unfortunate.
He who controls his mind and senses and works selflessly attains divinity. All the aspects of the knowledge (divine) are eventually the Vedas. It is the Vedas that speak of all the spheres of divine knowledge. We should therefore study all the spheres to realize the eternal truth.
Only they attain Brahma Vidya, who engage in penance, austerities as told in the Vedas and perform their actions selflessly. The person who does so is emancipated from all sins and he attains the highest state of bliss. He never returns from there and becomes liberated and immortal.

Pray for the Holy Ghost to reveal the Truth of the Holy Scriptures.(Divine Knowledge)
2 Peter 1:3-4
3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

No such thing as "divine knowledge". It is really just an attempt to have something served on a silver platter.
Wisom and insight comes through calm observation and experience. Perfect is to be able to accept and handle all the imperfections of life.

Why do you mean by divine Knowledge? I know that a closer walk with Jesus certain things that seem to be a mystery are revealed , but that only comes with a better understanding of the bible.

The love of God to us and our love to God work together for producing holiness in us. Only the certainty of love, forgiving love, can do this. It is this certainly that melts the heart, dissolves our chains, disburdens our shoulders so that we stand erect, and makes us run in the way of the divine commandments. Forgiveness looses this fearful tie and separates us from sin.

Great question! It can not be acquired, for it is the ground of being. Just practice being still, or practice enlightenment as it is sometimes called. "Empty handed I go, the hoe is in my hands".
