We are in a time of animal liberation and animal rights. I feel that cats should have the vote; that is, if I have one cat, I should get 1.5 votes to vote his interests; if I have two cats, I should get 2 votes, etc. I have 3 cats: my Abyssinian, who is a Muslim, feels there should be Sharia law enforced for those who harm cats or fellow animals; that is, hands should be cut off for hurting a cat; the penalty should be death for those who kill animals. My Burmese, who is a Buddhist, feels that we could lead these evil doers to enlightenment. Mr. Paws, my American mixed, is a Libertarian. Cats should definitely have voting rights.

Yes, for voting for salmon and Meow_Mix. Actually cats should like sushi. You know, the raw fish with the rice? So maybe they would vote for sushi to be governor of *A cat screeches, lands on Meow_Mix_Master's back, then drags Meow_Mix to a kitty world of sushi with golden light shining on it*.
Whoa...
This place is awesome!

I don't think that cats should have voting rights.
I don't like DemoCATS. They think they are entitled to staff.
They also are entitled to free food, beds, massages, and humans to sit and sleep on. They are also entitled to a door opener to allow them in and out of the house.

They would also make being a Vet a crime. They hate Vets.

I love cats but you are a nutter......cats have feelings but no conscience whatsoever so they should never have a right to vote.
As for hurting animals yes people should face consequences for that.
I don't think people should be compared to animals though.

how would your cat communicate his interests? are we to trust that you could accurately communicate his interests for him since he's your dependent? isn't this partly why minors cannot vote? they are dependent upon someone else... and if you are deriving these beliefs from your cats...that one is buddhist ec...are we to trust that you are sane? maybe you shouldn't be voting either...
