Just because you like someone doesn't automatically make them like you back. Just a fact of life. Edgar is not worth your tears. Don't give him the satisfaction of letting him know he hurt you. Some guys get off on that power trip. Big egos and all.

What about this bf you left? Do you think he still likes you? How do you feel about him? Maybe you could light that fire again.

If not, look around for someone else that interests you. Tell him you are taking a survey, of all the guys in study hall, and he has the bluest eyes--or whatever you can think of. Then ask him questions about himself. Guys love to talk about themselves. Become a good listener. Ask his advice about something he is good at. Like could he teach you how to bowl? Skate? Bike? Hike? Computer skills? Games? Anything? The point is to spend time with him. Make him feel important and flattered that you think he is so talented and special.

Most women try prozac. Maybe an alternative would be to consider how you might use better judgmet establishing, developing and maintaining relationships rather than simply moving onto the next guy you like and expecting your ex-boyfriend to remain good chums with you.

You got what you did to others... but everyone get's a second chance to reduce the effects of mistakes made earlier.

The thing is, forget edgar and move on. and remember, next man will always be better.

At your age it was what is considered "puppy love" (not to devalue the relationship.) Learn from the experience and move on with life. There are plenty of years, and boyfriends, out there to enjoy.

Go out and have fun...who needs Edgar to be your friend...the more you want him, the less he will think of you...don't make yourself sound desperate...move on and learn something out of this lesson.

There's no magic formula...but remember it's HIS LOSS...and then keep your eyes open, girl. Someone new (better) is right around the corner.
