what causes ''twitching'' in the stomach. Its to the left of the belly button, and feels like somethings inside kicking it. You can visibly see the stomach moving. It doesnt hurt, its just irritating.

Same thing happens to me sometimes. I don't know why exactly. I think it has something with calcium/sodium level in the blood (they affect nurves directly). I've noticed that it usually happens when I don't eat enough for several days.

I don't know the scientific answer to this question. I hope someone will answer this..
