The US, is not losing the 'technology race'.
The US, is selling out the manufacturing of technology to these countries (especially China) by reason of the fact that there are no minimum wage laws there, nor any environmental protection laws there.
The bottom line for US corporations is the profit margin. They do not care one iota if Americans are losing their jobs to the Chinese. Each and everyone of us, has had a hand in this retail assasination of the American worker. All of you who go to Walmart or Target, have basically been saying "I do not care about the future of the United States as a place that provides a safe and secure work environment".
What you are saying is "I only care about saving a few dollars".
If any of you really were concerned about the future of the US, you would strive to vote, and also vote with your dollars, to support US manufacturing.
As it stands? You people are blindly allowing the Asians to quietly steal your future.
By the reason of your choices of SUVs as to economical vehicles? You are allowing the Oil companies to drain your bank accounts.
Oh, how I wish you fellow Americans would awake from your slumber.
Yet, I know that you won't.

USA, Germany, Switzerland, America, Australia are probably at the forefront of technology. Those who can make it cheaper and knock things off are China, Japan, India. Who says they are losing?

How do you think India, Japan, and China got any technology at all, if it weren't for the U.S? We're not losing anything to these countries.

And what does Christianity have to do with anything? OR are you just another atheist taking cheap shots at Jesus Christ again?

Forget it, it didn't work!

I don't think so. It has to do with money and education.

China, India and Japan stress higher education and people there know the value of it.

It doesn't cost as much to do research there as it does in the USA.

you are one cofused cat... please name 10 technnological breakthroughs originating in China and India in the last 10 years... you confuse development of ideas and manufacturing with invention. Also, look at Nobel Prizes in the last 10 years, see anything interesting ? the ratio of Americans to other nationalities ?
and last, but not least, what the hell has christianity to do with that ? yes, we do not stoop as low as other countries to exploit people, VIVA Christianity in the US !!!

I wouldn't think so.
However, I think that people need
to be open minded in this country.
If you're not christian, you nothing.

He||, Religion isn't even real!
Why would God give us so many religions,
having only one be right.
It's like being put in a room, with hundreds of doors,
and only one leads to heaven.

We need to get over it.
