The worlds most ignorant people believe in Adam and Eve or some other creation fable. However, some religionists desperately try to hold onto the last strand of their religion with an theistic evolution theory.
The argument goes "Yea, ok, evolution is real, but God triggered the process to create man". Uh, lets try to imagine God's thinking process over 4 billion years:

Its fun watching earths atmosphere changing constantly. Those arthropods are kicking arss, interesting to see how they evolve and savagely compete with the the pre-cursor to mammals. Only another 100 million years before my beloved human species is created...cant wait!

Im gonna wipe out these Dinos soon with a big asteroid, they are so ugly and dominant. Once I wipe these puppies out, only millions of years left till man comes and he will invent nuclear weapons...entertaining...just like my savage nature where Lions eats gazelle.

Yes, of course, you're right. Please explain the following:
Niagara falls is eroding away. If you reverse the process and take measurements, it is obvious Niagara falls isn't more than 5000 years old MAX.
There are THOUSANDS of fish fossils on Mount Everest, how did they get there? My Worldview says Great Flood, what is YOUR explanation?
The Moon is drifting away from the earth at a rate of about 2 inches per year. If you reverse this by the age of the earth in the Bible, we don't really have any cause for concern. But MILLIONS of years?? You have some explaining to do.
I could go on and on, but science doesn't back you up. What's your excuse??
BTW, Dinosaurs are in the Bible. Have you ever read it?
The Hebrew word for "Day" in Genesis only means 24 hours.

well in fairness to the imaginary concept of god that those people have, he is eternal and whatnot. a billion years or a couple of seconds make no difference. maybe the goal is not efficiency. mysterious ways, you know.
but you forget that the earth wasn't even formed for most of the history of the universe. god waited some 9 billion years to get around to that.

He did not. The only thing 'innefficient' I can clearly see here is your complete lack of respect for the fact that at best, you favor your human 'theory' over a substantial proof otherwise.
You know? I have never heard even close to a valid response from an evolutioist/biogenesis believer, any logic to explain the cognitive brian of man, that far surpasses the necessary brain capacity for survival of the species.
It is common scientific knowledge that humans typically use 10% or less of their brain's capacity during their lives, yet, that proves that 'evolution' would have provided infinitely more than was necessary.
Oh well, I guess, once a stupid concept enters the mainstream, the "homer simpsons" refuse to let go.

To THE LORD GOD, time is one to HIM. It is because THE LORD GOD created time and also created eternity for men. Thus, eternity to eternity to HIM is merely a blink of HIS eyes. THE LORD GOD say As the heaven is higher than the Earth so are MY WAYS AND MY THOUGHTS are higher than your ways and your thoughts. So even if we apply man's knowledge of relativity espoused by a famous scientists, trillion of trillion of years or billion or billion of years and 5 hours are merely segmented time. Well, it is quite obvious that if He didn't, then we wouldn't have any choice but to believe in Him, because we wouldn't have the alternate explanation of evolution. Thus our free will would be infringed upon.

he didnt . we are only time bound in the 3rd dimention and we calculate it billions of years acording to our knowledge of time. remember in space a thousand years can be like a day
